What spaces are available and how much do they cost?

We offer several rental options to suit different needs. Classrooms are available at $25 per hour. The Rec Room, which includes chairs, tables, a projector, and kitchen access, rents for $50 per hour. The soccer field is available for outdoor activities at $35 per hour.

How does booking work?

We offer flexible hourly rentals with a one-hour minimum. Bookings are required to conclude at the agreed-upon time, and any additional time used beyond the booking period will be charged at the standard rate.

Is insurance required to rent a space?

Yes. Renters must provide proof of liability insurance with coverage of at least $5,000,000, naming Halifax Christian Academy as an additional insured. This must be submitted at least seven days prior to the rental date.

What amenities and rules apply to the spaces?

The Rec Room comes equipped with chairs, tables, a projector, and a kitchen area. Renters are expected to follow food safety and cleaning protocols. Proper footwear is required for use of the soccer field, and care should be taken to protect the space. All spaces must be returned to their original condition; additional cleaning or repair costs may be billed as needed. Storage requests may incur extra fees.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than seven days in advance will receive a refund of the deposit, minus a $25 administration fee. Cancellations within seven days of the rental date will forfeit the deposit. If HCA cancels due to emergencies or other reasons, a full refund will be issued.

Are there rules for safety and conduct?

All guests are required to follow HCA’s safety rules, including fire regulations, occupancy limits, and general school policies. Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and illicit substances are strictly prohibited. HCA reserves the right to terminate events for non-compliance with these rules.
