Our hope is to make your application process as smooth and simple as possible. We encourage you to reach out to Zaira Manila (zmanila@halifaxchristian.ca or call 902-475-1441) to tour HCA, receive answers to any of your questions and to learn more about what makes Halifax Christian Academy unique!

Next Steps

  1. Book a tour with the school. Email our Director of Admissions here or fill in the form below to book your tour.

  2. When you are ready, please request an Application Package from admissions@halifaxchristianacademy.ca Please have the following documents ready when filling out your application:
        - Most recent report card
        - Individual psycho educational assessment if applicable
        - Behavioural assessment documents if applicable
3. Send in your $100 Domestic Application Fee per student.
    • Pay at the time of filling out the online application form OR
    • Send an eTransfer to finance@halifaxchristianacademy.ca with your student(s) names + “Application Fee” in the memo.
4. Complete a student assessment. We want to ensure the HCA program is the right fit for your student. Acceptance into the program is contingent upon both the availability of space and the results of our assessment, which will determine your child's readiness to participate.

TUITION INVESTMENT

 

In order to make Christian Education at HCA as an accessible option to families who wish to join a school that is Biblical aligned to their family values, we provide tuition at 40% less than all other private schools in Halifax! Learn more about our tuition, fees and services here.

OUR CAMPUSES

HCA has two campuses located in the Halifax Regional Municipality. Our Timberlea Campus has an Early Childhood Education Centre. Our administrative offices, academic program (Primary to Grade 12), and International Program are at our Armdale campus.

UNIFORM GUIDELINES

HCA has uniforms for several reasons:

  • To maintain high standards in the appearance of our student body
  • To avoid competition in dress among the students
  • And to minimize expense to parents for school clothes in this day of “designer” styles and fast fashion

The prescribed uniform is outlined in our uniform guidelines and can be ordered through the online HCA Uniform Shop. We also have a used uniform buy/sell/give group so that outgrown, good condition uniforms may be passed on to other students within the community.

Students are required to attend school dressed in regulation uniform. Uniforms must be clean, neat, and tidy.
